Philosophy Club Begins Again
This fall the undergraduate Philosophy Club was renewed by junior Philosophy major, J Eckard with the official title Lyceum Philosophy Club. Its purpose is to provide a forum in which students can discuss philosophical matters through interactions with both faculty and peers in an informal non-classroom setting. The club meets every Wednesday afternoon from 3:30 to 5:20 in Savery Hall Room 137, and all current students are welcome as well as alumni and any person interested in discussing philosophy. Past discussions have included John Perry’s dialogs on personal identity, upcoming and previous graduate student colloquium, and faculty led discussions such as Professor Bill Talbott on epistemology. Please join the Lyceum Philosophy Club on Wednesdays at 3:30 PM.
